City Government

The Village of Jones Creek was incorporated in 1969.  Our City Government is structured as a Type A Municipality, with a Mayor and five presiding Aldermen at Large.  Aldermen terms are two years; three seats are elected in odd numbered years. The other two seats are elected in even numbered years, alongside the Mayor and Marshal, both of which are two year terms.

The Village of Jones Creek City Hall has been located at 7207 Stephen F. Austin Road for 35 years, and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  All City Council Meetings are held at City Hall every third Tuesday of the month.  From time to time, the City Council will announce a Special Called Meeting.
