Planning and Zoning Commission

The Planning and Zoning Commission is a group of Jones Creek residents appointed by the Board of Aldermen to oversee the zoning issues of Jones Creek.  They determine the boundaries of the various zoned areas and ensure appropriate regulations for these boundaries. Public hearings are held to allow the citizens to hear the recommendations brought to the Zoning Board.

Meetings

The Planning and Zoning Commission holds a regular meeting once every June. All other meetings for the Planning and Zoning Commission are on an as-needed basis and at times are held jointly with City Council.
