Events

The Marshal's Office sponsors several community events throughout the year. All of these events are completely free of charge and fun for the whole family.

Pie Day

Pie day is held each year on National Pie Day. Residents bake pies to enter into eight categories. After the pies are judged the community returns for a time of fellowship and tasting the pies.

Easter Egg Hunt

At the Easter Egg Hunt kids can hunt for over 2000 eggs that are hidden in three separate areas for the different age groups. Kids then exchange the eggs for bags of candy. 

Animal Awareness Day

Animal Awareness day is held each May.  At the event there are low cost vaccinations, nail trimming, half price city registration, and so much more.

Back to School Supply Drive

The annual back to school supply drive held in August benefits Stephen F Austin Elementary. The Marshal's Office posts a needs list to their Facebook page and donations are collected at the Jones Creek Farmers' Market on the first Saturday in August, 8 am- noon. 

National Night Out

National Night out is an evening to meet your neighbors and first responders. Each year at National night out there are fire truck rides, hot dogs, games, music, fellowship and much more.

Veterans' Day Breakfast

The Veterans' Day Breakfast is held each year on or near Veterans' Day as a way to say thank you and we appreciate you to all our Veterans. Volunteers prepare and serve pancakes,  bacon, sausage and coffee to all that attend.

Pancakes with Santa

Pancakes with Santa is held the 1st Saturday of December from 8 am- 10 am. Santa arrives to have a yummy pancake breakfast with all who attend and you'll be finished with breakfast early enough to swing by the Jones Creek Farmers' Market.

Christmas in the Creek 

Christmas in the Creek takes Christmas to a whole new level with over 60 trees, hundreds of strands of lights, pictures with Santa and the Grinch, cookies, hot chocolate, letters to Santa and more.
